“Mehmet Akif School” is the first private school opened in post-war Kosovo. It started its activity in 2000, in the premises of the high school “Gjin Gazuli”, in Prishtina. A year later he was transferred as a tenant initially to a building located in Velani, and later to the building located in Veternik.
In the school year 2010 the College moved to its current facility in Banullë-Lipjan.
Teaching takes place at the following levels: preschool, primary, lower secondary school and upper secondary school in scientific direction.
The school offers food as well as accommodation in separate dormitories for boys and girls, for students coming from other cities in Kosovo.
“Shkolla Mehmet Akif” është shkolla e parë private e hapur në Kosovën e pasluftës. Veprimtarinë e ka filluar në vitin 2000, në lokalet e Shkolles së mesme “Gjin Gazuli”, në Prishtinë. Një vit më vonë është transferuar si qiramarrës fillimisht në një objekt që gjendej në Velani, kurse më vonë në objektin që gjendej në Veternik.
Në vitin shkollor 2010 Kolegji kaloi në objektin e vet aktuale në Banullë-Lipjan.
Mësimi zhvillohet në këto nivele: parashkollor, fillor, shkollë e mesme e ulët dhe shkollë e mesme e lartë në drejtimin shkencor.
Shkolla ofron ushqim si dhe banim në konvikte të ndara për djem dhe vajza, për nxënësit që vijnë nga qytetet e tjera të Kosovës.
“Mehmet Akif School” in Prizren was opened in 2006, at the former Përllonka Factory. Whereas, in 2011 he moved to his facility located in Boka-Korishhë.

“Shkolla Mehmet Akif” në Prizren është hapur në vitin 2006, te ish- Fabrika e Përllonkes. Ndërsa, në vitin 2011 kaloi në objektin e vet që gjendet në Boka-Korishë.
Mësimi zhvillohet në këto nivele: parashkollor, fillor, shkollë e mesme e ulët dhe shkollë e mesme e lartë në drejtimin shkencor.
The “Mehmet Akif School” in Gjakova was opened in 2010 in the facilities of the former TMK, the so-called “Zidi Sadik Agës” which is the property of the Municipal Assembly of Gjakova and has been used for a certain time by the Municipality of Gjakova.
Initially, the facility in question was repaired in order to make it as suitable as possible for the learning process. With the beginning of the school year, students were accepted for the 1st, 6th and 9th grades. As a result of citizens’ interest, the preschool level was opened initially with two groups. At the end of the 2013-2014 school year, the 1st level moved to the new facility, which is also located in the yard of this school.

“Shkolla Mehmet Akif” në Gjakovë u hap në vitin 2010 në objektet e ish- TMK-së,vendi i ashtuquajtur “Zidi Sadik Agës ” i cili është pronë e Kuvendit Komunal të Gjakovës dhe është marrë në shfrytëzim për një kohë të caktuar nga Komuna e Gjakovës.
Fillimisht është bërë riparimi i objektit në fjalë në mënyrë që të jetë sa më i përshtatshëm për procesin mësimor. Me fillimin e vitit shkollor është bërë pranimi i nxënësve për kl.I-rë, VI-të dhe IX-të. Si rezultat i interesimit të qytetarëve është hapur edhe niveli parashkollor fillimisht me dy grupe. Në fund të vitit shkollor 2013-2014 niveli I –rë ka kaluar në objektin e ri i cili po ashtu gjendet në oborrin e kësaj shkollës.
Në kuadër të shkollës funksionojnë këto nivele të arsimit: parashkollor, shkolla fillore, shkolla e mesme e ulët dhe shkolla e mesme e lartë.
